Growing up, my mother has told me stories about her dad in the war. Because of this, I wanted to learn more about World War II. This project means a lot to me because both of my grandfathers served our country in WWII. Thankfully, both made it back to their families safely, not all families were this fortunate. This project documents the men and women who paid the supreme sacrifice with their lives to keep our country free.
